(Especially on unusual media such as glass and fabric....)

Printers who do a lot of Giclee  printing, or who have
very large presses -- in a major city, typically... for advertising
campaigns - also usually do very small runs for artists..
or who customize their ink-jet printers, produce wonderful
results up to about 12" max width or so....the max length differs
from printer to printer... you must locate a printer by word of
mouth from other artists - I know one in Washingto state,
one near Carmel, Calif, and one in San Fran...

I have invariably gotten the least expensive price, and the highest
quality, from "Mom and Pop" - tiny - operations....

Printing on glass is relatively expensive everywhere in the US
-- I haven't priced overseas and won't, for practical and chauvanistic reasons,
since this is very large and  diverse country,
and since there is genuinely more respect for intellectual property here
(we have zillions of lawyers compared to other countries to prove it!)

Yes, I know that the art market in China is now incredibly large
and fabulously wealthy....IF..... you are Chinese....or have been
dead for a number of years, or have been asociated with
Andy Warhol, in any manner, whatsoever.....
... some internationally-known artists
do very well in that market. But, tastes vary, and many of the most popular
fine artists, who command fabulous sums, and who are displayed in the
most famous galleries, often produce dreck that is nauseating.
As in any art form, only 1-2 % of artists now alive are masters who will be admired for
many centuries....

Printing on fabric is less expensive than glass, across the board,
whatever size is chosen...and... there many many fabrics that may
be used. The least expensivve seems to be Cambric, not
surprisingly.
